Plastic Surgeries

Manual Lymph Drainage Sessions are for keeping you from having lumps, bumps, hardness and fibrosis. If you have these already, we can work on eliminating them.

Whether you've had OR PLAN TO HAVE breast implants/explants, tummy tuck, facelift, necklift, BBL, or Lipo, getting a series of Manual Lymph Drainage sessions is going to speed up your recovery process and improve your surgery outcome.

Arthroplasties

MLD helps with swelling after joint replacements, too, regardless of the arthroplasty you have had (hip replacement, knee replacement, elbow replacement, ankle replacement). MLD helps you heal faster and with less discomfort. Coming to the office is a lot to ask immediately after some of these procedures.

If you live within 5 miles or so of the office, ask about Home visits!

Oncology

If you've had a mastectomy or are already working on reconstructive surgery, MLD will help to reroute extra fluid from an area that may be swelling. We want to get started right away to try to prevent cording as well. Its a good idea if you haven't already had a procedure for us to talk on the phone to discuss a treatment plan and have it in place on the calendar before you have your procedure. But that's ok if you haven't! If you've just had surgery and feel you need work, call me, we'll get it figured out!

Autoimmune Conditions

There is research to suggest that regular MLD sessions are effective at reducing symptoms from various autoimmune disorders such as Fibromyalgia, RA, Lupus, IBS, and more. This makes sense as MLD works to stimulate or speed up the body's "cleanup" system, so that inflammatory debri in the body is more readily eliminated.

Lipedema/Fat Disorders

Lymphatic drainage massage is a crucial therapeutic approach for individuals grappling with the discomfort and swelling often associated with lymphedema and lipedema.

Lymphatic drainage massage promotes lymphatic fluid movement, reducing pain, pressure, and swelling. While surgical interventions remain primary treatment options for long-term management, integrating regular
lymphatic drainage massage sessions alongside compression garment use has proven beneficial for many patients.
